If you are taking classical piano lessons and intend on having a serious digital piano you need to focus on purchasing a model with top-notch and authentic sound. Having access to all kinds of non-piano sounds like an organ, electric piano, bass and drums may perhaps not be crucial for you. Also, for anyone who is taking piano lessons you need to think about the truth that some digital pianos have built in metronomes which will aid strengthen your playing method. Still you might want to obtain a digital piano for enjoyable and may well appreciate having access to all kinds of sounds. Several models have some enjoyable features that permit you to play having a full band accompaniment.
Yes it's true that not all digital pianos sound like the real deal, but in the event you do your investigation properly and test a few distinct models, you might have the ability to locate 1 that has genuine, acoustic piano like, sound. For beginners naturally, the top quality of the sound may perhaps not be an issue, you could not even know the difference between both. Do you want a piano inside your house that is an elegant piece of furniture? Once again you may believe that the only remedy would be to get an acoustic piano given that several digital pianos do not take a look at all like a classic piano, they look additional like a black piece of plastic with keys attached to them. I don't mind myself, owning a plastic piano isn't a dilemma for me. But I do comprehend those that would want some thing extra elegant to enhance a room's look. Music is often a quite interesting art and specially playin teh piano, reliable piano's just like teh Yamaha Original Service are essential.

I recently inherited a 1975 Yamaha RD350 that has 10,000 original miles. Curious if it is worth restoring.?
This bike belonged to my father who only rode it one time after he bought it from a used dealership. He said it was too hot for him to handle. He had the bike fully serviced then put it in storage where it sat for over 20 years. The storage unit was in the middle of the Arizona desert so it "cooked" for many years. I don't know anything about bikes, but when I checked it out I discovered the gas tank is full of rust and the brake fluid is crystalized. Other than that all I know is there is no rust on the exterior anywhere, no dents, scratches, tears, etc. Have no idea if it is worth restoring to ride or even where to begin. My biggest question is what kind of expense would I be looking at to get it road-worthy. The only motorcycle shop in town said they wont even look at it without a $500 deposit. That sounds a little steep to me and money is tight. I dont even know what a bike like this would be worth. Thanks
The RD has not really reached the status of a "Vintage" motorcycle,so it's not as though you will make a lot of money restoring it. There is a select group(a cult following if you will) that loves the RD myself among them,so they are a collectible bike I believe is destined to become "Vintage".
If you like the idea of having a collectible bike and will ride and enjoy it ,go for it, you will at worst break even.
Your biggest single expense will probably be the tank, once rusted it's hard to clean w/o hurting the paint and if you have to repaint that will be expensive ( and less than original paint hurts the value).
If you're not into the idea of restoring and keeping it, sell it as it is.
What part of Az. are you in and How much do you want for it,I may be interested. I'm in Ca. but have a place In Fort Mojave I go to a couple times a year( Next in April for the River Run) P.S. probably worth $1000 as it sits, Probably take that much maybe $1500 to get it right if you pay someone to do it.In "Killer condition you may get $3000 from the right buyer.
Disadvantages: With a digital keyboard, you do not have the tone and touch of a conventional piano, or the very same ability to convey the subtle emotion and feeling within your music. An acoustic piano holds its value greater and last longer than a digital piano. Finally, a digital piano keyboard, like all electronic devices, ultimately becomes obsolete. Music is really a extremely fascinating art and specially playin teh piano, dependable piano's just like teh Yamaha Original Service are important.
That becoming said, digital pianos have improved considerably over the years. You will notice that the contemporary models can virtually replicate the touch and feel of the conventional acoustic piano. Probably the most critical aspects it is best to think about before deciding between a house digital piano and an acoustic piano are your musical preference, objectives, spending budget and space offered. We suggest going to a store and comparing the two so you could make a superior decision.
